IT Systems Support Engineer - Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Tier 1 Helpdesk support


• Assist users either via phone, email or LogMeIn to resolve any issues


• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal resources


• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time


• Maintain user administration in all systems including Online Office, Azure, Active Directory, and Office 365


• Local backup maintenance & testing


• Maintain Antivirus at all locations


• Local & remote hardware support / troubleshooting


• Local & remote network maintenance


• Phone system maintenance / configuration


• Patch management via LogMeIn


• MDM via MaaS360


• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manual

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Systems Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role


• Hands-on experience with Windows OS and VMware environments


• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues


• Familiarity with Azure, LogMeIn, Veritas Backup Exec, VMWare, RingCentral, and MaaS360 are a plus


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills


• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal


• BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience


• Additional certification in Microsoft, VMware or similar technologies is a plus
