Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing leadership and employee relations including, but not limited to, labor relations; investigations and corrective action; policy and procedure development and implementation; development and delivery of a comprehensive HR plan of employee onboarding, recognition, engagement, retention, talent management and training and development. This position must have a strong willingness and ability to work towards the development and strengthening of the organization's commitment to provide a workplace of diversity and inclusion.

Essential Functions:

Provide supervision and expert advice to other members of human resources department, and directors, managers and employees about the organization's policies and procedures.

Ensure employee relations processes comply with state and federal laws and that all employee relations concerns are thoroughly and appropriately investigated, including complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other work related issues.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws regarding employee notifications, leaves, ADA accommodations, unemployment and workers compensation.

Remain current on legal enviornment and labor law updates and educate employees as appropriate.

Ensure that all appropriate investigation and reorganization data and documentation is prepared, tracked and maintained; review all requested investigatory materials before distribution.

Review investigative documentation, including interview notes and summary of findings and recommend next steps to senior management; review summary information with CEO and/or legal counsel as appropriate.

Partner with external employment counsel, risk management, other HR functional teams to effectively manage employee relations issues/investigations.

Lead the development and implementation of a full year onboarding process for all positions.

Direct employee satisfaction surveys and partner with appropriate leaders to develop and monitor improvement strategies.

Identify opportunities and guide employee's career development through a comprehensive career development plan.

Oversee the performance review process for all employees to include goal setting, mid-year reviews, final performance reviews and personal growth plans.

Ensure that all initiatives, policies and procedures align with the organization's mission and core values.

Manage expenses related to the human resources department's budget guidelines.

Leads team to ensure appropriate training and development resources.

Participates in various committees, including Diversity, Inclusion and Global.

Other duties as assigned for the success of the organization.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in human resources; SHRM-PRR or CP. Other combinations of applicable education, training and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities and skills necessary to perform the position requirements effectively will be considered.

Minimum of five years of experience in the HR field.

Prior experience in a supervisory role.

High degree of initiative; ability to work independently as a self starter as well as a leader and collaborate with the Frost Valley team.

Emotional intelligence and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a personal commitment to integrity, teamwork, achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.

Possess and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
