Director, WW Hematology VAP, Myeloid Franchise


Worldwide Market access and pricing strategy is foundational for successful commercialization. As a Leader within the WW Hematology Value, Access & Pricing (VAP) Strategy Team you will lead the development of value, access and price strategies for launch assets and life cycle management to support patient access to our medicines. This role is part of the growing Myeloid team that have 3 active launches (Reblozyl, INREBIC and CC-486/ONUREG) across 4 disease areas with a large LCM program in development.


The ideal candidate for this Director role has a deep understanding and application of global/large health care systems for market access, pricing and reimbursement success within the biopharmaceutical industry including launches. Documented track record of access and pricing strategy development and successful execution in international cross-functional environment. Hematology knowledge a plus but not a must.


Responsibilities:


Development of:


WW Market Access and Pricing strategies within the Myeloid portfolio in close partnership with Core Markets, WW VAP execution, WW HEOR organization, Development Teams, Cross-functional Matrix partners and Strategic support functions.
Payer and value assessments to inform competitive Payer value propositions, evidence generation plans, regulatory strategy and business decisions over a product life cycle.
Strategic value communication tools, training over the asset life cycle.
Represent WW value, access & pricing strategy on cross-functional platforms, ie DT's, WWBT.
Management of:


Matrix leadership of WW Value Strategy Team and WW VAP/HEOR Core team supporting strategy development over the asset life cycle and day to day business management
Collaborative partnership with:


In-strategy focus/Core markets for VAP strategy development
WW VAP Execution team to support flawless access and pricing strategy execution
HEOR/Medical/DT to develop VAP strategy and supportive integrated evidence generation plans
Colleagues across the organization including Corporate Affairs and Medical on global initiatives supporting patient access strategy development


Qualifications/Requirements


At least 5+ years' experience of biopharmaceutical industry with deep understanding and application of global/large health care systems for market access, pricing and reimbursement
Documented track record of strategy development and successful work experience in international, cross-functional Matrix environment with documented direct or Matrix leadership
Scientific background and/or relevant exposure to biopharmaceutical development/Strategy/HEOR
Prior relevant biopharmaceutical launch/strategic experience in a local market
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information for strategic optionality/decision making by Senior Leadership
Undergraduate degree in economics or a health/science discipline, MBA and/or other post graduate degree required.
