We are currently seeking a highly motivated associate scientist to join our Immunology & Inflammation Discovery Biology group in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate must demonstrate technical expertise in cellular and/or molecular biology assays to validate therapeutic targets, and perform mechanism of action studies to support programs as they enter and move through clinical development.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with at least 4 years work experience or Master's degree with at least 2 years work experience in a relevant field.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Research experience in biology, inflammatory & autoimmune diseases and/or cancer immunotherapy is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in isolation, culture, and characterization of primary cells from human or animal tissues is required.
Experience executing biochemical assays with a variety of readout technologies, including flow cytometry and ELISA is required.
Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration and organizational skills are required.
Ability to identify technical problems and potential solutions.
Ability to demonstrate effectiveness and growth in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
Technical/biological Duties:

Cell culture and cell-based assays.
Primary cell isolation from whole blood and tissues.
Cytokine detection experiments using multiplex assay technologies.
Execute complex biochemical assays, including RNA/DNA isolation, Real Time PCR, protein isolation and immunoblotting.
Travel requirement: less than 20% of the time
