The Role. As a Senior Pharmacy Analyst and Data Scientist, you'll leverage your technical and functional knowledge of pharmacy as it relates to various client types (ie Payer, Providers, PBMs, Employers, etc). You will work as part of a team helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution by developing innovative solutions. In this role, you will be the organization's pharmacy data expert.
Support pharmacy business development initiatives using analytics experience and skills to provide actionable, relevant, and timely information and insight
Using pharmacy and medical claims data as well as other data sources (ie prior authorization, lab, SDOH, clinical data, etc.), create customized tables for analysis and develop replicable analytical models
Leverage healthcare cost reduction and operational improvement knowledge to identify revenue and cost savings opportunities
Collaborate with AArete's Center of Data Excellence (CODE) to develop and execute complex queries and development of analytical solutions
Create and deliver analytic findings in a variety of formats such as PPT, Excel, and visualizations dashboards using PowerBI or Kibana
Collaborate with client teams and analytic resources in a Matrix organization to accomplish project goals
Develop and manage client relationships and deliverables across multiple projects
Minimum 6 years healthcare analytics experience with a majority of the work inclusive of pharmacy (ie PBM, Health Plan)
Proven expertise with file layouts, various data elements, pharmacy claims, medical claims drug pricing databases, and other healthcare data
Expertise in Microsoft SQL
Proficiency in R, SAS, Python, PowerBI
Proven expertise in healthcare cost of care
Relevant experience with various managed care pricing methodologies
Proven ability to manage remotely in a Matrix management environment.
Strong customer relationship skills
Have earned a BA or BS degree
