We are seeking a bold and dynamic Communications Director to join Ferring's microbiome launch team. This role will be integral in deploying an omni-channel communications plan to achieve a successful first-in-class launch in the C. diff space, setting the stage for future portfolio additions, and activating Ferring's vision for the future of microbiome-based therapies.
Provide strategic counsel, support and execution of brand communications across business units driving positive business impact and improved awareness and sentiment around our products.
Traditional launch, pre-launch, data and conference communications across all brands and therapeutic areas.
Proactive and Responsive Brand Media Relations.
Brand social media planning and execution.
Position as liaison with third parties and advocacy groups.
Create and execute annual brand communications plans.
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in public relations/communications, combination of agency and in-house experience.
Previous experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical arena required.
Ability to think strategically and execute plans.
Strong media contacts with healthcare industry press, including online and broadcast outlets.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to execute and measure multifaceted campaigns and day-to-day communications initiatives.
A strong understanding of traditional media, digital and content marketing strategies, ability to integrate campaign strategies and apply analytics to measure results and provide insights.
Poise and calm under pressure.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
