In this Art Director role, you'll tell visual stories that put consumers at the heart of what we do-making a positive difference in people's lives with products that help them live, learn, work and play. You'll collaborate, concept and innovate to produce cutting-edge content that's optimized for a vast digital landscape, while delivering a clear, consistent brand message across all channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategically collaborate with internal teams and 3rd parties to design best-in-class digital assets across email, web and retailer sites (Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.)
Concept, design and execution of assets for website + emails with a mobile-first lens
Create shoot plans, storyboards and direction for original content creation in our in-house studio
Execute new concepts and repurpose, rework, revise existing content when appropriate and necessary
Being a brand expert across multiple brands at once and maintaining consistency while elevating your brands across multiple channels
Manage high-volume design requests against aggressive deadlines while being organized and keeping tidy design files
Multi-task & express strong prioritization skills while working on several brands daily
Work with copywriters, user experience and brand leaders to seamlessly bring brand messaging to life
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or University degree in Graphic Design or similar field
Minimum of 5 years of experience executing digital commercial assets for email, websites, and social media
Advanced Adobe Photoshop graphic design experience
Self-starter who is a collaborative, detail-oriented and enthusiastic team player
Commercial photo & video studio experience (Storyboarding, Shoot Planning, and Art Direction
Passion for mobile first approach and responsive design
Flawless eye for spacial layout, and typography
Up-to-date, hands-on understanding of best practices in eCommerce design
Understanding of basic principles of UX/UI
Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of eCommerce, visual storytelling and marketing
Must be detail-oriented and deadline focused
Hands-on experience in Digital Shelf and Enhance Web design on retailer websites including but not limited to Amazon.com, Target.com, Walmart.com and Direct to Consumer preferred
Video editing/motion graphics experience preferred
Comfortable with HTML/CSS
