Transition Qorvo Mobile Products from a follower to a leader in key global standards bodies/industry associations such FiRa, UWB Alliance, 3GPP, CCSA, CCC, ICCE, IWPC and the GTI
Centralize MP standards body participation into one team alongside Qorvo's Carrier Program (cellular network operator liaison team), with joint tie-off reviews to Executive Staff.
Engage with key national government regulators to understand regional standards interpretation and tie-off with our customers' customer via The Qorvo Carrier Program and automobile manufacturers via Qorvo's vehicle systems business units.
Lead the co-ordination of all necessary test, design, simulation and systems architecture resources across the entire Mobile Products (MP) business, as needed to fulfill the mission.
Tie-off needs and findings across all Mobile Products BUs as our internal customers
Monitor and report global trends at WRC, ITU, 3GPP/ETSI, CEPT, CCSA, IEEE, etc.
Approver for government regulatory communications
Support for Carrier/Operator Liaison team
Bachelor's degree mandatory; Master's degree in business preferred.
Minimum of 15-years' experience in global leadership of RF design and RF systems definition in RFFE solutions, as applied to international radio standards bodies such as 3GPP, IEEE, UWB and CCSA.
Relevant applications areas include smartphones, wearables, vehicular systems, smart manufacturing and smart home.
Emphasis on RFFE semiconductor Organizationules and related supporting power control components.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to bridge views and harmonize across diverse international cultures. Diplomacy must be apparent.
Preference for experience in country-specific government regulatory interpretation of radio standards.
Preference for experience interfacing with global major cellular network operators (carriers) and global automobile manufacturers.
Hands-on prior RF design experience is an advantage.
