Chewy is seeking a dynamic Pricing Manager to drive advanced analytics that impact cross-functional strategies and P&L results at our Dania Beach, FL headquarters. Pricing is part of Chewy's Merchandising Systems & Services (MSS) team, which is responsible for creating the systems and services infrastructure for all Chewy businesses. Our team's mission is to be the backbone for Chewy's Business, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth and profitability. We directly own the Pricing, Catalog & Content and Vendor Systems & Services, that have Product, Data Science & Economics, Program and Services components.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exemplary skills in retrieving and analyzing large data sets, and is highly proficient in SQL, Excel and Tableau. In addition to a strong analytics background, this individual possesses exemplary data visualization and presentation skills. This role creates analysis that is consumed at all levels of the organization (including C-Suite), so clear and structured communication is key.
What You'll Do:
Apply economics, statistical and other analytic frameworks to deliver insights on Chewy pricing's impact on revenue, profitability, customer conversion, and market competitiveness
Perform complex analyses by leveraging large data sets from multiple systems to surface actionable insights that support Merchandising teams in making data-driven decisions around product pricing, promotions, and operational performance
Proactively influence business strategy by creating analytics to monitor metrics and trends, by conducting ad-hoc analyses and developing self-service dashboards and tools to drill into pricing system inputs and outcomes
Drive the execution of key Pricing and Promotion processes, while training others on how to use the processes
Collaborate cross functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing and other departments to translate pricing data and analytic insights into scalable and actionable business processes
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or a related degree with quantitative emphasis. Master's degree a plus
5+ years of related work experience and demonstrated track record of innovation and impact
Advanced application of SQL, Tableau, and Excel or other data visualization tools to understand business problems
High degree of proficiency executing complex data analyses
Ability to independently coordinate cross-functional projects, delivering results on tight timelines
Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality
Position may require travel

Masters or equivalent advanced academic degree
Advanced technical skills using R, Python, or other programming languages
Ecommerce, retail, or SEO Analytics experience
