Vice President, Planning

Centric Brands is looking for a VP, Head of Planning for Accessories to join its team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.
The ideal candidate has experience leading a high performing team in planning sales, gross margin and inventory. Demonstrates the ability to act as a change agent that with decisiveness and clear direction in a rapidly evolving business climate. Extensive merchandising systems knowledge and experience in implementation is a plus.
Manage forecast processes across 5 separate accessories businesses and over 50 brands including channel level sales, margin, and inventory targets
Manage OTBs and inventory purchasing processes
Provide key inventory reporting and analytics to Senior Management.
Provide key decision support analysis to senior executives highlighting sales inventory and gross margin risks and opportunities.
Implement assortment planning process as part of line plan development
Standardize, implement and manage product lifecycle calendar and buy process.
Partner with product management and division leadership to build consistency and alignment to best practices across the company.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional partners - Division Presidents, production, finance and sales.
Lead Planning Team. Ensure high performance standards thru Coaching, training, and development. Perform ongoing talent assessments.
Ensure milestones and deliverables for all planning activities are successfully achieved for the group
Work with divisional planners to identify business risks and opportunities to maximize sales, profitability and inventory turn objectives as part of forecast process
Drive standardization and best practices that support key planning initiatives and analysis across the group
Participate in development of new methodologies, as needed, to improve planning process and results

Recent/current experience planning for a wholesale Accessory business is preferred
10+ years' experience in Planning and Merchandising leading a team of Directors and Managers
Experience utilizing Planning and Merchandising applications
Proficient in Microsoft Office
