Vice President Talent and Change Management

In this vital leadership role the VP, Talent and Change Management will impact careers and lives in a significant way as the strategic innovator and architect of Bright Horizon's overall talent development, change management, and learning solutions. You will be responsible for creating talent strategies to help identify, develop and retain a diverse and high-performing workforce ensuring a healthy succession pipeline and our strongest performers are here to stay. This role will be critical in building the next generation of leaders and maximizing the engagement of our people, our most important asset.
What you will be doing in the role:
The VP, Talent and Change Management will create strong relationships throughout the business, champion progressive talent management, change and learning plans while cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and inclusiveness.
Talent Management - Lead the overall design and administration of talent programs including performance management, leadership development, succession planning, change management and talent review programs.
Learning Services - Leverage and expand existing learning and technology solutions, including our LMS to deliver innovative and cost-effective learning, with a focus on continual development of our leadership for our home office employees.
Change Management - Manage the implementation of change initiatives at the enterprise level, owning the design and execution of action-oriented interventions to help lead individuals, teams and the organization as a whole through their change journeys as we continue our evolution.
Design, develop and deploy a Talent Management, Leadership and Change strategy that drives a culture of engagement and performance accountability.
Build innovative solutions to enable the achievement of our talent strategy through a focus on building a robust internal and external talent pipeline, attracting and retaining top talent, increasing internal mobility, and fostering a culture committed to the development and growth of our employees.
Enhance our performance management process in conjunction with our Total Rewards team and compensation philosophy.
Work closely with the HR Business Partners to implement succession planning and other talent strategies and programs across the company.
Facilitate talent management sessions and coach the senior leadership team to instill a sustainable, high-performance culture and associated behaviors.
Be a thought leader in the business; align with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify and move key strategic talent, learning and development initiatives forward.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Create strategic processes and systems to ensure training content is up to date and relevant.
Partner with business leaders to ensure change initiatives achieve successful results by increasing employee adoption and usage focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, technology, and organization structures.
Diagnosis, build and deliver team effectiveness and change management solutions, ensuring ensure high levels of performance across the organization.
Influence change through education, action, and policy that enriches and supports a positive company culture
Lead a highly collaborative cross-team group within a dynamic organization.
Influence at all level of the organization.
What you will bring to the role/Minimum
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
15+ years leading a talent management function within a high-growth organization and a rapidly changing HR function.
7+ years change management experience, preferably implementing large-scale change and hands on experience with change management methodologies.
Must have experience in the following areas: Talent or Organizational Management, Learning and Development, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness or related fields.
Must have experience having built or enhanced broad-based talent management strategies and programs.
Demonstrated experience in leading successful transformational change in challenging environment.
Ability to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution within a fast-paced environment.
Passion for diversity, equity and inclusion
Prosci ADKAR Change Management Certification desirable
Excellent facilitation skills in virtual and live environments.
Credibility and gravitas - must be able to facilitate groups of leaders more senior than themselves
Proven record and ability to influence and partner with leaders to successfully drive organization and business initiatives.
