The Analytic Consulting Group partners with internal and external clients and data providers leveraging predictive analytics and advanced statistical techniques to drive strategic thought process and effective decision making. As the Director of Analytics, you'll be hands-on and manage analytic initiatives from conception to completion, providing clients and key stakeholders actionable results and insights that help them achieve their business objectives.


Responsibilities:


Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the client's business situation and develop data driven insights that can be understood and implemented to drive marketing strategies
Develop project requirements, analytic plans, Statement of Work (SOWs), project timelines, data pulls, analyses, reports and other related materials for the management of deliverables
Conduct analysis by qualitatively and/or quantitatively analyzing data/information, prepare reports and analyses, uncovering insights and developing business recommendations based on data findings
QA/QC data and report or analyses output to ensure accuracy
Create compelling presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations
Present analyses/reports to key internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating the key findings and recommendations
Serve as the primary point of contact for all phases of the analytic projects, from problem definition to presentation of results to prioritizing and monitoring project progress against goals while tracking budgeted hours
Manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytic projects
Support sales process by assessing prospective clients' needs and crafting/presenting proposals that meet those needs
Explore and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell existing clients
Communicate and engage with key internal business partners and Epsilon clients to devise strategic direction and to collaboratively solve business problems


Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
A minimum of 8 years professional hands-on experience with statistical modeling, data mining and advanced analytic techniques using large marketing databases
A minimum of 5 years proven managerial or supervisory experience
Proven experience managing and delivering a wide variety of analytic solutions to internal and external stakeholders
Experience with marketing measurement process, frameworks, tools, campaigns and statistical algorithms
Working knowledge of databases such as Hadoop or Netezza and cloud-based systems such as AWS
Possess exceptional technical skills with hands-on working competencies with advanced SQL and R/Python for large scale databases
Ability to articulate and deliver insights and recommendations to the client and executive audience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to display data visually creating powerful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables
Sound experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of advanced statistical techniques and data driven solutions
Acute attention to detail (QA/QC)


Desirable Qualifications:


Advanced degree (Master's or more) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline. MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in marketing analytics field, with strong understanding of quantification of consumer behavior, marketing measurement process, tools and statistical algorithms (eg lifetime value, customer segmentation, control groups, A/B testing, multi-variate testing, time-series, media mix modeling, paid media optimization, predictive analytics, supervised/unsupervised learning)
Experience in web analytics; digital analytics preferred
Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills helping to cultivate relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
Hands-on programming experience in advanced SQL, R, Python or related language (SAS, PySpark, knowledge of statistical packages for statistical modelling, parsing large quantity of data, AWS)
Visualization experience in Tableau preferred
Some travel to client sites may be required (10-15%) as travel opens up
