As VP/Group Director, you will oversee a full Precision team and serve as the primary point of contact for one of Digitas New Yorks largest clients. You'll drive the value proposition for the media team, identifying educational needs and overseeing the delivery of targeted educational programs. Your job is to monitor each individual's performance, utilization, and career growth. You'll also ensure that all applicable media buying techniques and technologies are deployed for optimal campaign performance.

As a Digitas thought leader, you must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital communications landscape to engage and challenge some of the finest minds in the industry and to further develop a new type of media entity for Digitas that seamlessly integrates technology and strategy.

Day to day, your role includes:

Defining agency-wide strategic objectives and providing relevant thought leadership on processes, audience strategies, campaign optimization, and the growth of Programmatic at Digitas
Serving as an expert on all aspects of the planning and campaign management processes, programmatic best practices, and publisher offerings
Overseeing the client services team by reviewing strategies, processes, campaign results, and the overall success of client relationships
Interfacing with agency media teams to communicate service offerings, assisting with complex campaign setups, and identifying and delivering new solutions in a collaborative fashion
Ensuring the Client Services team is aware of key client opportunities, potential risks, and other nuances that affect the health of the business
Defining and driving adoption of best practices in the digital and addressable media space
Leading regular sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance
Completing forecasting exercises for senior management
Participating in regular financial and operational meetings with senior leadership
Collaborating with Tech, Data, and Inventory partners to ensure that features, assets, and other elements necessary to successfully utilize their products are executed and delivered in a timely fashion
Serving as a point of escalation for campaign, strategic, and relationship challenges with clients
Overseeing training, mentoring, and development of direct reports
Embracing and encouraging a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity


We're looking for an exceptional media leader, which typically includes:

12-15 years of deep work experience in display and video media buying
Six or more years of strategic planning/campaign management experience in online advertising or direct marketing
Four or more years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services team
Strong grasp of the digital media ecosystem-you know this world by heart and you keep pulse with the rapid changes happening within it -and a clear, solid understanding of the media planning and buying process
Deep industry relationships with ad tech firms, brand teams, and publisher partners
Ability to organize and manage detailed work, work independently, and balance multiple tasks
Experience coaching and developing talent in a rapid growth environment
Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
Excellent communication and writing skills-you're poised, precise, and above all, kind when relating to others
Willingness to travel as needed -you're open to new places, new faces and new ideas
