POSITION OBJECTIVES:


The Senior Manager, MMN Brand Manager, represents an excellent opportunity to work in a rare autoimmune disease area, Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN). MMN is a rare neuropathy characterized by progressive, asymmetric muscle weakness and atrophy that affects ~1:100.000 patients with ~6.000 cases in the US. Patients cannot be cured but treated to control the disease progression.


The successful candidate will lead the development of marketing activities and promotional programs for a critically important inline product, Gammagard Liquid. Gammagard Liquid is the only product indicated for MMN in the US Market. It is a multi-billion-dollar brand and the main driver of Franchise growth in the long-range plan.


This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring constant alignment and collaboration with the MMN sales team to execute key tactics and activities and coordinate Takedas presence at major Congresses and events for MMN.


This role requires an individual with good project management skills, attention to detail, and an agile response to change. To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills, a collaborative approach, willingness, and perseverance to successfully take all projects to the end-stage.


POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:


In this role you will work on Gammagard Liquid MMN indication promotional (HCPs and Patients) activities, development of branded and unbranded materials as well as non-personal and digital resources:


Gammagard MMN brand development and physician, patient, and unbranded messaging across all sites of care


MMN personal and non-personal marketing tactics and brand communications, including peer-to-peer programming


Cross-functional lead for MMN to ensure alignment across strategic priorities (collaborating with Medical, Managed Markets, US PDT Institution Marketing Team, Strategy and Insights, Advocacy)


MMN congress lead (eg, AANEM) including cross-functional congress planning, booth design, and execution of commercial tactics, sponsorships, and events (face to face and/or virtual)


Support in the development of an Unbranded Disease Educational Website


Manage Gammagard Liquid Branded Website updates/maintenance


Digital Advertising and NPP Campaigns (GGL Website, Banner Ads, SEO, etc.)


Sales training partnership to ensure strong field sales onboarding and execution of marketing tactics and programs.


Lead marketer to work with the MMN national salesforce


Primary contact for MMN material development and approval through PRT (Promotional Review Team), collaborating with Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance


Manage the MMN Co-Pay Assistance Program in collaboration with Patient Services Lead


Physician customer insights generation to support the MMN strategy


Coordinate creative agencies activities


Manage promotional budget and expenses tracker


EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:


Generate insights and develop differentiated brands, including physician messaging


Understand, communicate, and execute marketing programs and tactics


Foster strong relationships with physicians, vendors, and internal stakeholder


Capability to understand market trends and customer needs and incorporate customer insights to advance strategy and tactical programming


Track record of strong project management and results orientation, including strong budget management


Ability to successfully work in cross-functional teams, including internal legal/regulatory/medical promotional review team


Understands the role of other functional areas and partners with them to develop the best solutions


Strong communication skills, including presenting concepts and ideas in a clear, concise, and organized manner


Adapts communication style and content to match the needs and interests of the audience


Ability to interpret market research and secondary analysis and translate into actionable tactics.


Demonstrates the ability to solve problems by analyzing issues and making informed recommendations


Ability to navigate ambiguity with a positive can-do attitude and problem-solving skills


REQUIRED:


Bachelors degree required with 5+ years of marketing/product management experience with a demonstrated record of success. MBA or advanced degree preferred.


7+ years pharmaceutical industry or related experience preferred. Knowledge in Rare Diseases/Neurology or Neuroscience preferred


Experience with digital and omnichannel marketing


Comprehensive understanding of the US Healthcare system and distribution channels


Understanding of specialty pharmacies activity and dynamics


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:


Ability to attend internal meetings, conferences, customer visits as needed


Overnight travel


Travel up to 25% including weekends (during conferences/congresses)
