Business Alliance Manager

Supermicro is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Business Alliance Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute key component strategies with an assigned vendor to increase revenue
Drive internal programs to promote component adoption and attach rate
Align with vendor on strategic projects and oversee special project pricing
Track win-loss of strategic projects and perform post-mortem analysis
Support and advise Sales and System PMs on optimal component options
Initiate and facilitate next-generation component family roll out
Become a product expert for the multiple brands under the vendor
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in technical field, MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable
Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant industries and 3+ years in alliance, partnership, vendor management, or business development role preferred
Industry experience in server/workstation hardware business preferred
Computer component vendor management experience and knowledge of CPUs (Central Processing Unit) is a plus
Be able to work well with external partners and internal cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations
Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills - a drive for results and a history of successful execution on projects
