We are seeking a highly-skilled, collaborative and innovative leader to be the Director of Carrier Management, Analytics & Performance Management in our Network Engineering Organization, located in Cincinnati, OH. In this leadership role, you will report to the Senior Director of Network Engineering and will lead a global team of seven engineers, working closely with peer organizations and suppliers. As the application owner and central point of contact for the network organization, key deliverables will include monitoring applications and tools used in support of Network Capacity and Performance management, defining roadmaps and leading lifecycle management, and driving strong maturity and organizational value.
The Director of Carrier Management will lead 3 critical functions:
Carrier Management, including budget/cost mgt, WAN/SDWan delivery, diversity planning, and circuit inventory management.
Network Capacity & Performance Management of the P&G network estate, including WAN, LAN, and WiFi services.
Network Application owner for key systems used by the CAP team and peer organizations, including Network Operations and Network Engineering.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the lifecycle of WAN Transport and the integration of our WAN inventory into all appropriate processes and tools that allow management of each stage of the lifecycle.
Leading and driving the direction for carrier management and the spend with each and decide which partners can best provide service through the lifecycle of the WAN transport solutions.
Being responsible for the maturation of key processes for Network Capacity & Performance management. Establishing standard methodologies for data collection, analysis, and review, providing valuable insights to key partners, with the emphasis on proactive vs reactionary actions.

Has a detailed understanding of WAN provisioning and decommissioning processes and procedures, and has the ability to expedite delivery in support of critical business needs.
Bachelors Degree in an IT technical discipline
Demonstrated experience with WAN transport technologies and services, global transport carriers and local exchange providers.
Strong technical understanding of transport technologies, their value, risk and benefits, as it applies to a SDWan overlay architecture. Experience with MPLS, Internet DIA, fiber/copper transports, microwave, 4G/5G LTE, and satellite is required.
Technical understanding of WAN performance attributes including latency, jitter, throughput, and packet loss, and their impact on WAN/Application performance.
The ability to build, lead and manage a team of IT professionals, helping to develop technical and career path opportunities.
Ability to travel ~15%
