Freshly is looking for an innovative Director of Talent Development who will create and deploy strategic solutions to maximize talent potential and leadership excellence in our high growth, entrepreneurial environment. As we are a quickly evolving and growing our business, you will be primarily focused on designing a scalable talent strategy focused on delivering results in the following key focus areas: Learning, training, and leadership development.
Leads, develops, implements, and drives key strategic talent initiatives such as leadership development, career development, and training
Designs and implement leadership development strategies for the organization, with close alignment to the business
Builds training programs and industry education programs that drive functional expertise and maximize teammate effectiveness and efficiency
Manages online learning database to include content and course management, as well as annual required learning plans
Assess, identify and implement learning and growth programs to ensure the development of highly performing and engaged team members
Creates tools, resources, and education to enable the successful execution of talent processes including a business-wide framework.
Identify effective processes to accurately assess talent and readiness of high potential employees. Design and determine programs to support development of these team members.
Contributes as a thought leader to the broader HR and executive leadership teams
Effectively hire, lead, mentor and grow a team of talented HR professionals
Partners with a variety of key stakeholders across all organizational disciplines (eg, operations, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
Leverages data, analytics, and research to support the development of talent strategy and decision-making
Bachelors degree required. Master's degree in human resources, business or organizational development related fields preferred.
Minimum 12 plus years of human resources experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Diversity or senior level HR Business Partner roles; management/supervisory experience is a must
Experience understanding business needs and objectives and taking the initiative to drive valuable, effective and aligned strategies and solutions
Experience developing, executing and measuring training/career development programs
Proficiency and extensive work with adult learning principles
Proven ability to analyze significant amounts of data and utilize results to drive results
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and employees across the organization
Highly tech proficient in integrated cloud-based HR systems, e-learning, talent technology and recruiting systems a plus; ability to work with technology professionals to build cutting edge tools that optimize productivity
