What We Are Looking For:
A remote Technical Writer to author, edit, and review product documentation. This position will require working with internal resources, interview software developers, and attend engineering meetings to gather, write, and publish technical information for our varied audiences. The information will include release notes, security strategies, briefs, etc. The individual will be part of the product team core and work with the marketing team, the customer enablement team, as well as the product team. We are looking for an individual who is a talented writer whose output will be easily digestible by all varied intended audiences.
Develop deep knowledge around the DocuShare product family through the lens of technology and end customer use.
Work with Product Owner, Technical Program Manager, Scrum Master, & Developers to create, produce, and maintain release notes, product strategies, briefs, security papers
Learn concepts and translate them to easy to understand documentation in words and graphics.
Plan, schedule, and track documentation work to align with product release dates and product phase gate delivery process timelines
Maintain a collection in DocuShare Go with the all current and historical documentation for the DocuShare family of products
Preferred Qualifications and Skillsets:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field or English, writing, or communications
5+ years relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums
Experience with the dynamic change of an agile S/W model
Must have a professional and engaging demeanor to work across various groups and channels
Excellent consulting, presentation, written and communication skills
Self-starter with ability to prioritize, manage and track multiple priorities
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Develops and fosters strong customer and ream relationships
