This is a unique opportunity to own and drive a portion of the rapidly growing Hardware product portfolio on a team passionate about helping form the future of the Hydroponic Industry. If you have the desire to be part of the future of growing and possess both an innate entrepreneurial spirit and ability to manage products at varying points in their lifecycle we want to hear from you. In this role you will help drive the execution of the category strategic plan including new product development, portfolio analysis (sales performance, marketplace/share, forecast/inventory, SKU rationalization, etc.), marketing plan creation and execution, and sales training & support and overall ownership of the P&L. Simply put you will be an owner in all areas that directly impact the ability to meet the needs of all company stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
You understand what it means and what it takes to be a successful General Manager of a business.
Desire to own a product mix consisting of durables and consumables.
A passionate marketer and creative thinker with the desire to develop the next thing in your area of business.
Ability to lead, direct and support cross-functional stakeholders.
A natural interest in identifying customer needs and developing plans to reach target audience- You understand what it takes to identify, engage and build loyalty
Entrepreneurial minded- ready to jump into fast-paced, rapidly evolving Hydroponic space
The thrill of building something new excites you!
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize disparate information to create recommendations
Desire to balance both B2B and B2C go-to-market strategies.
Thoughtful risk-taker who is able to make quick decisions, assess results and redirect as necessary
Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment, resilient to adversity and adapting with flexibility
5+ years of experience with branding, strategic development and creative problem solving
Will have at least 1 direct report and are eager to play a mentorship role to grow talent
Bachelors degree in business, MBA preferred
