Chewy is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Program Manager, Procurement at our headquarters in Dania Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be customer obsessed, have a passion for problem solving, a track -record of amazing execution of cross-functional initiatives and exceptional at using data to drive decisions. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and negotiating new agreements. In addition to creating and implementing processes, and procedures regarding procurement. You must be able to roll up your sleeves and deliver results. You must be able to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and scale with the company. Achieve goal objectives such as revenue savings and business improvements.

What you'll do:

Select vendors and lead major negotiations to procure all items other than Inventory (eg MRO, Shipping Supplies, Corrugate, Technology, Office Supplies, Equipment)
Review specifications, analyze market and select potential suppliers, lead the RFQ process, analyze prices/quality expectations/delivery dates/terms, negotiate prices and terms, and award and communicate orders to suppliers
Negotiates terms and conditions with suppliers for contracts, agreements, amendments, and conditional offers.
Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to select suppliers for new products, lease vs. buy decisions and optimize supplier base
Evaluate/manage vendors/suppliers through KPI's
Contract administration, quality assurance, modification of special terms, and contract closeout or termination
Establish and enforce procedures to ensure proper recording and tracking of all items purchased by the organization
Develop cost saving structure for global organization
Domestic travel as needed

What you'll need:

An owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive to improve business sectors and create saving initiatives
Strategic thinking mindset to define the best negotiation methodology/tactic per project to maximize goals and achievements
Strong negotiations skills, a history of creating value for organizations, passion for achieving and demonstrating results
BA/BS plus a minimum of 5 years of industry-related purchasing/sourcing experience; advanced degree is preferred
CPP, CPPM, CPPO/CPBO, or CPM Certification is a plus
Ability and experience managing contracts across departments
Exceptional organizational and project management skills to be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
Ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented and data driven environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office application
Advanced level Excel proficiency
Strong Analytical skills and detail orientation
Experience running competitive request for proposals (RFPs), RFIs, and RFQs
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
