The Senior Manager of Program Management will drive and scale Supermicros operation projects to support our fast growing organization located in San Jose, CA. The position's primary responsibility is to ensure the overall business success and customer stratification with specific premier accounts throughout the product life cycle. Sitting at the intersection of technology and business, you will work closely with customer, operation, sales and tech leaders to shape and run projects, providing critical thought partnership and account management. You will lead a cross-functional team in identifying and mitigating risks in project management, new product introduction, customer interface, material planning, production planning, order fulfillment and process & system improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Lead a team of program managers in providing turnkey manufacturing service to specific premier customers. Bridges among Sales, Production, product management, and Purchasing Departments to deliver outstanding performance.

Day to day interface with the customers on production planning, material readiness, shortage prevention, order fulfillment, quality control and new product development related topics, to ensure meeting forecast requirements, customer satisfaction and our business growth targets.

Develop and execute performance metrics, procedures and systems to drive operation efficiency, continuous improvements and business excellence

Control inventory while mitigating any potential shortages with buyer groups and along the whole supply chain that may impact the business throughout produce life cycles

Analyze and tune up forecast accuracy with customers and sales

Assist new product development schedule with PM team and material supply requirements with buyers to ensure product time to market and cross functional teamwork

Contract negation with customers and related internal/external parties

Design new processes, and fix existing processes between different teams

Special projects as assigned


Bachelor's degree with Master's degree is preferred in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration
Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in computer system related industry, including 5 years of managerial experience preferred
Experiences in contract manufacturing, product development, project management, quality control, and procurement support; technical knowledge on material-related and quick-turn engineer-to-order environment experience.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate effectively with various functional areas. Cross-functional team experience desired.
Must possess excellent communication, strategic, tactical and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing, to interact with all levels of personnel
Self-starter with the ability to work independently without supervision
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, develop and implement new processes
Advanced level in Excel and Power Point. Excellent presentation skills required.
Experience with ERP system (SAP) preferred
