We are seeking an Executive Creative Director to help lead Liquid Sunshine through an exciting new phase of growth in capabilities, brand assignments, and creative excellence. This is a Senior Director level role that will report into the SVP of Creative for KDP.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


With the SVP of Creative, establish and maintain the bar for Liquid Sunshine's campaign and content creative work
Oversee the development and execution of a wide variety of video, digital, social, retail, and experiential work for our roster of in-house brands as well as content for other KDP business units
As Co-Lead of the Campaign & Content Group (along with the Executive Producer of Content), establish a world-class practice to meet the rapidly growing demands for more and better content, produced quicker and more efficiently
Get your hands dirty working on briefs, either solo, partnering with the SVP of Creative, or with other staff and freelance writers
Help hire and lead an initial group of 10-20 staff and freelance creatives, and provide them with clear responsibilities, goals, and career development
Team up with the production leads to bring the group's work to life at the highest degree of quality possible
Work with the Brand Design group to bring to life ideas in print, OOH, digital, retail, and social as needed
Work with Marketing leads and the Brand Engagement & Strategy group to craft and refine briefs
Work with Project Management to ensure efficient and effective use of talent, and to deliver work on time and on budget
Proactively identify opportunities to tap into or incorporate the latest trends in pop culture, creativity, executional approaches & techniques, and broader inspirations, innovations and interruptions
Champion and contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, personal growth, winning, and fun


Requirements


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:


A minimum of 12+ years of experience as an agency Art Director, with at least five years as a GCD (or above) leading a multi-discipline team of creatives
At least five years of hands-on experience creating for social and digital platforms, including websites
A portfolio of often funny, always entertaining, award-winning campaign and content work, from big, multi-channel launches and high-profile TV and web video, to hardworking social campaigns and websites, to talked-about activations and brand experiences
A proven ability to turn insights and customer behavior into culture-driving, business- building creative ideas
A perfectionist's attention to detail and an artist's passion for craft
A love of entertainment and culture, and a head for business
Inspiring leadership and management skills to rival your art direction chops
The optimism to think bigger, the curiosity to dig deeper, and the passion to do better
The gravitas, emotional intelligence, and intellectual firepower to persuade clients and other stakeholders to embrace innovative, highly engaging, and sometimes risky work

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Working knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, and Sketch a plus
CPG (especially beverage) experience
Some in-house experience a plus
