Summary:


Responsible for the management and execution of communications programs to either an external or internal audience. Writes, edits, reviews and/or oversees release of communication documents and programs that support the organization and ensures external audiences or employees are kept in touch with company developments. Plans, prepares and relays information concerning the company, such as shareholder information for investor relations. Initiates programs that ensure the public's understanding of the organization. Co-ordinates media relations and prepares external communications.


Purpose:


The Corporate Communications team is seeking a Senior Manager of Global PR with international experience to support key initiatives for the Global Marketing and Brand Management team. The ideal candidate will create and execute comprehensive strategies to effectively communicate with external audiences and maximize exposure with top-tier media around the world. This includes, but is not limited to, press releases, pitches, thought leadership bylines and social posts.


Responsibilities:


Develop and oversee the media strategy for corporate and tech PR globally.
Manage the development of strategic communications plans that proactively highlight Xerox's value propositions, technology products and business announcements.
Liaising with executive leadership to manage their internal and external presence
Establish, monitor and ensure that goals and PR KPIs are met.
Work across the Brand organization, Investor Relations and Government relations to craft messaging and identify story hooks that will earn Xerox media.
Engage with business leaders across the organization to drive earned media for Xerox's innovation strategy, technology products and new areas of growth, including AI, 3D printing, software and services, sensors IOT (Internet of Things), digital packaging and clean tech.
Assist in the media outreach strategy for the company's Quarterly Earnings Calls and Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Provide global communication support and counsel to various functions within the organization to support any external messaging initiatives


Qualifications:


Minimum 8 years of experience at a public relations agency or as a senior member of an in-house public relations and/or communications team
Executive presence
Incredible writing skills with writing samples required
Extensive media relations experience including contact list of tier 1 and global media contacts
Global agency management
Ability to develop local strategies with field teams (think global, act local)
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and a willingness to take charge and drive results
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines and establish clear priorities quickly
Extremely organized with unfailing attention to detail
BA/BS undergraduate degree
