Senior Manager, Talent and Performance Management

The Sr. Manager, Talent & Performance Management will play an integral role in the creation and execution of the Newell Brands global performance and talent tools and processes. This role is accountable for leading and supporting talent projects, providing meaningful insight and analysis, and for the day-to-day execution associated with the company's talent and performance management initiatives. In addition, this role will support activities associated with performance management, succession planning, leadership talent reviews, training and development, and the administration of organization-wide surveys - all in partnership with the Talent Development team and HR business partners in the organization.
Lead the design and operational execution associated with various enterprise-wide talent processes in partnership with other team members and leaders, including: performance management, succession planning, leadership talent reviews, training and development, and employee engagement surveys.
Collect, manage, interpret and analyze data, with the ability to diagnose issues, provide recommendations, and present data in a succinct and simple way that is easily understood to broad audiences.
Leverage talent and performance best practices to support continuous improvement and collaborate with the team to make recommendations.
Assist with facilitation of meetings, focus groups, and other working groups; resolve and align disparate viewpoints when necessary.
Create and/or update Talent team work products with exceptional attention to detail
Key knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Subject matter expertise across two or more core disciplines of talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
Strong consulting and partnership skills - eg, asking clarifying questions, contributing ideas, challenging and promoting thinking, communicating clearly and effectively.
Ability to successfully navigate complexity and ambiguity in a dynamic, start-up type culture, and adapt to changes with agility.
Ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, and vendor relationships and execute high-quality work products with limited guidance; high personal accountability for results.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP SuccessFactors or related HR systems.
Ability to create and interpret pivot tables, graphs and perform sophisticated data analysis.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in industrial/organizational psychology or MBA desirable.
7-10+ years of experience in consulting or corporate roles focused on talent management, leadership development, organizational development or related field.
3-5+ years of project management and people management experience.
