We are looking for a remote Product Learning Content Designer to support the Product Enablement Team for Xerox DocuShare products. We are looking for a training expert who possesses both proven technical Instructional Design skills combined with the critical thinking skills to advise on learning initiatives with the team. This individual will design highly engaging materials to communicate and train around the product, partnering with technical subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into effective learning. This individual will also have facilitation skillsets.
Develop scripts, copy and instructional text for elearning, virtual learning, webinars and product demos.
Set the direction for and develop elearning courses and tutorials with input from the enablement team and other technical subject matter experts.
Proactive self-education mindset with a find the answers when you don't know them attitude.
This role will require a highly organized approach to maintaining accuracy and relevance of all training assets to be in line with strategic and evolving product roadmap goals.
Regular editing and document maintenance as needed.
Work closely with the Digital Content Designer to design project assets.
Work closely with web product Community Owner to build as needed training messaging for direct users requiring technical support.
Work as needed with cross functional teams on special projects to deliver launch training, sales initiative materials, and miscellaneous materials needed to support product enablement.
Ability to assess and identify success metrics for implemented training, making recommendations and adjustments without delay.
Preferred Qualifications and Skillsets:
3 plus years work experience in curriculum development to include portfolio of curriculum development.
Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum, Education or similar field.
Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent experience.
Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge required.
Visio, Photoshop or Illustrator knowledge a plus.
Experience translating concepts into easy to comprehend and in a digestive format
Able to excel in a fast paced environment with working alongside an agile model.
Able to manage multiple assignments in Tandem and track assets and efforts for efficiency.
Effective and professional communication skills.
Exposure to software training a plus.
Knowledge of content management CRM a plus.
Ability to provide Voice Over support a plus.
