VP, Corporate Controller

The VP Corporate Controller is responsible for leading the Controllership function company wide, reporting directly to the CFO. This role, leads all accounting operational functions, handles the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and leads a team of financial professionals .
Responsible for directing the organizations accounting functions, providing controllership and accounting expertise for the organization
Ensures all transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and completed in accordance with GAAP
Oversees the month-end close process
Oversees the annual audit process, working directly with external audit firm
Produces monthly reporting of companys financials to senior leadership
Produces monthly reporting packages required as part of financial covenants or other requirements
Produces monthly forecast for balance sheet and cash flow statements
Plays a key role in any business related transactions with a focus on SOX compliance and SEC requirements
Participates in key strategic initiatives and assist in various ad hoc projects
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Certified Public Accountant
Ten + years public account experience
Five + years serving as business controller
