The Director, Consumer Product Portfolio will be responsible for the execution of key strategic programs and projects that drive scalability and growth within the Covetrus Global Technology products and services portfolio. She/he will work closely with Sr. Leadership to deliver improvements in products and services that are commercially ready and enable our veterinary clinics, animal practices and our consumers the best care possible. She/he will build key relationships across the organization to ensure that the value proposition being developed and delivered from conception through development and creation of the Go To Market plans can be realized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead critical projects by fostering a team-driven environment, providing clear business communication, and maintaining focus to ensure the most favorable outcome
Partner with diverse functional areas including product, engineering, marketing, finance, operations, customer excellence and sales to understand the cross functional inputs and interdependencies that will define the scope, budget and timeline
Build and track the plan, timeline and budget
Facilitate cross functional teams to identify opportunities and solutions
Identify and track risks with appropriate escalation and mitigation planning
Drive effective collaboration and alignment across multiple global/local/remote resources and key vendors/partners
Manage and drive the execution of all phases of the project lifecycle: including gathering requirements, identifying scope, outlining milestones, driving implementation, risk management, and managing expectations while facilitating on time delivery
Leverage previous management experience to understand the environment and challenge the norm to expose opportunities
Build and maintain successful partnerships across business units to enable predictable delivery of highly visible projects
Collaborate with Product Mangers in developing and maintaining global product roadmap
Manage all the pipelines related to specified product roadmap items. Prune any roadmap item in accordance with product management processes to asses and prioritize the initiatives at hand
Provide detailed communication with global team, managing all global product requests and forecasting
Working with PMO to ensure on time delivery of products and successful commercialization
Ensure the sequencing of projects is appropriate at the program level



Bachelor's Degree in related field
7+ years project/program management experience
7+ years of management related experience
Experience Managing cross-functional teams in a Matrix organization
Ability to successfully multi-task in complex, ambiguous circumstances
Demonstrated ability to function independently and lead cross-functional teams
JIRA, smartsheet, Tableau

PMP or CAPM a plus
