Group Account Director - the community

In this role, we are looking for a seasoned Account Leader able to take the reigns of large accounts, occasional project opportunities and new business pitches while steering teams as a go to between our VP, Managing Director and a team of Senior Account Directors. This role will have the chance to drive accounts, grow existing client business and help win new business. Our team stretches into technology, CPG, spirits, finance, large online retail, and more. The person who will be most successful in this role is a strategic thinker, a proven team leader and champion of great creative work. This individual should be able to navigate close, collaborative relationships with Creative and Strategy departments, mentor and elevate teams, and nurture client relationships. We are looking for a Group Account Director who has a proven track record of overseeing large original creative advertising campaigns from conception through delivery across all media channels.
Create and maintain the client/agency relationship at the senior most level, (ie CMO, C- -Level executives, SVP, etc).
Manage and prioritize across multiple pieces of business with Senior Account Leadership.
Lead high- level business and brand strategy development for clients (identify where we are and where do we want to go).
Manage clients on Real Time business results.
Demonstrate superior competency with internal training and mentoring/guidance of multiple teams.
Keep agency Leadership team informed and involve them when needed.
Spearhead client work throughout US General Market, US Hispanic, Global, and Regional campaigns.
Working fluently in both English and Spanish to communicate with clients and assist in the production of work catering to multi language audiences.
Partner internally with ECD's, CSO and EVP of Operations
Cultivate and motivate the creative process to produce new and inventive work.
Provide high- -level strategic and creative guidance to ensure all initiatives are delivering on brand and against business goals.
Mentor team in ability to continually grow their career within our agency and beyond.
Participate in new business opportunities.
Grow the business of existing clients.
Oversee Scope of Work and Staffing Plan development with Brand/Account Directors.
Advocate, drive and champion agency initiatives.
Keep the teams informed and inspired!
12-15+ years of fast-paced account/brand management experience.
Experience working within a Creative Agency or similar environment that is creatively driven.
Native/fluent level language skills both in oral and written communications in English and Spanish language required.
Strong experience running a large piece of business and/or in leading strategic marketing plans.
Strong project leadership skills with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.
Expert strategic thinker driving the relationship between client, strategy, account, and creative within an agency setting.
Experience managing and collaborating with remote teams.
Ability to handle pressure and remain flexible to work under especially tight deadlines.
Seasoned experience within the US General Market and/or Global sector.
Experience within multicultural or regional initiatives a plus but not required.
Proficiency in Google Workspace: Slides, Sheets, Docs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, detail-oriented skills.
Flexible to travel as needed (with all safety precautions considered).
