On behalf of our client, a financial service provider based in Prague, we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

Functional Analyst (T2/T2S Consolidation for Clearing) (f/m/x) financial area Prague - P738

Our client is one of the larges exchange organizations worldwide. As a financial marketplace organizer, the company provides a portfolio of services covering the entire process chain: securities and derivatives trading and clearing, netting and transaction settlement, custody and provision of market information. Information Technology designs, builds and operates the technological infrastructure of the company. These highly integrated and automated IT systems are essential to our clients success.

We are looking for dedicated analysts to join our clients IT development center in Prague and help advance the functionality and technology of the systems. Your main focus will be the T2/T2S consolidation project launched by the ECB end of 2019 which aims at unifying central bank money services offered by the new Target platform. You will be responsible for understanding the target solution of the new Target services, how are the necessary changes to Clearing payment solutions and systems, prepare necessary documents/inputs and make sure the implemented IT solution works as expected.

You will acquire insight into financial market products and delivery management processes for payment and financial instrument settlement. The diverse set of business stakeholders, customer requirements and business processes of exchanges will challenge your business skills while the high reliability, scalability and performance requirements of our clients systems will challenge your technical skills.

This project will provide an opportunity to communicate with stakeholders in multinational environment across different locations.

You should possess and demonstrate the following skills and qualification:


  • Excellent analytical skills, experience as an analyst in financial services institutions.
  • Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Strong ability to orientate in new topics
  • Good orientation in Application Development life cycle
  • University degree in Computer Science or Economics/Finance or equivalent professional qualification or experience
  • Knowledge of payment processes and SWIFT messaging (ISO15022 and ISO20022) are required
  • Knowledge of bank payment infrastructure a benefit
  • Experience with Use Case specifications and familiarity with aspects of E2E testing
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, spoken German is an advantage
  • Additional knowledge of UML behavioral and structural modelling a plus. Knowledge in modelling tools beneficial ie MS Visio, Bizagi
  • MS Office and SQL know-how required
